Parents, please make arrangements to pick up your student(s)' information packet(s) and classroom materials needed for virtual learning. 

Double Churches Elementary Distribution Plan August 10-13, 2020 All students will pick up school paperwork packets, devices, teacher name and schedule, and learning materials from 8 AM – 11 AM, 1 PM – 3 PM, OR 5 PM – 7 PM, according to the following schedule: Grade Pick up Place Date Kindergarten Front Drive Monday, August 10, 2020 5th Grade Back Loop Monday, August 10, 2020 1st Grade Front Drive Tuesday, August 11, 2020 4th Grade Back Loop Tuesday, August 11, 2020 2nd Grade Back Loop Wednesday, August 12, 2020 3rd Grade Front Drive Wednesday, August 12, 2020 Pre-K Back Loop Thursday, August 13, 2020 If you have several children, all of the materials for your family will be picked up on the day of the youngest sibling. We will have bins placed outside the front of the school for you to drop your school paperwork packets any time by Friday, August 14. Please contact our school at 706-748-2660.

WHO: Currently enrolled students (if not enrolled, see the registration details below)

WHAT:

• Finalize enrollment process by picking up and returning required documents in the Back to School Packets HERE.
• Pick up instructional materials (e.g. devices, textbooks, etc.).
• Pick up school schedules.

REGISTRATION VS. VERIFICATION: WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE?

1. Registration is an on-going process throughout the year.
2. Registration can now be completed through the Online Registration System (OLR) HERE.
3. Verification happens AFTER registration prior to the start of each school year.
4. Verification occurs at the student’s assigned school and includes school specific forms, schedules, instructional materials, etc.

WHAT YOU NEED TO REGISTER

CURRENT STUDENTS

• TWO proofs of address:
  • Lease/mortgage/property tax AND
  • A current utility bill stating name and service address
• Withdrawal form or last report card from previous school
• If you are living with someone, that person must come with you and provide proof of address and a photo ID.

NEW TO THE DISTRICT

• Student’s Birth Certificate
• Student’s Social Security Card
• GA Immunization Form (3231) or waiver form giving more time to get form 3231
• GA Eye, Ear & Dental Form (3300) or waiver form more time to get form

IMPORTANT: All visitors must wear face masks/coverings and observe six feet of distance between individuals at all times upon entering any District sites.
